I got married on August 3rd in Golden, Colorado in a wonderful venue surrounded by my family and friends. It was an absolutely fantastic evening that went just as I had always imagined. Our ceremony was short and sweet, with only a few words nervously said by the groom and I. The food, drinks and reception went according to plan with most of the night spent on the dance floor. I can't thank my parents, friends, and family enough for helping plan the event, bring their at the event, and supporting Jason and I as we take this next step in our adventure together. I can thank my bridesmaids enough for spending the money on a dress, plane ticket, and hotel to come celebrate with Jason and I.
So what has married life been like these past few weeks? Wonderful. Marriage has brought this warm security of love into my life and it was something that I was not expecting to feel. There is a sense of security and the knowledge that Jason has accepted me for all my dorky, silly, overly competitive and fat kid qualities. Here's a few wonderful pictures from the day!
